Visiting Mont Tremblant was a one night stop over for us before heading back home to Toronto. We arrived late in the evening and didn’t get to explore much. In the morning we walked around the village and enjoyed the views before driving back to Toronto.
I had always imagined Mont Tremblant as a Ski-Resort. But it actually offers year round activities. One can come in the winter to enjoy the winter sports, or play golf in the summer. There is Mont Tremblant National Park where you can go hiking or canoeing or enjoy the winter sports by the lakes. Because we were only there for a night, we just stayed near the Pedestrian Village. There are many hotels surrounding the village, we stayed at Residence Inn by Marriot.
In the morning we rode the Cabriolet gondola, that took us to the other side of the village. It’s a short ride, offered free of cost. It’s fun to ride and at the same time helpful for those who find it difficult to walk up and down the steep hill.
There was also a Panoramic Gondola that took people to the top of the Mont Tremblant hiking trail. We didn’t have time for it so we couldn’t go.
Although we didn’t get to spend much time in Mont Tremblant, we had a good rest and enjoyed the beautiful views. But I would definitely love to come back and experience the different activities this wonderful place has to offer!
